With hair-raising flight to Lukla airstrip, mesmerizing journey begins following Dudh Koshi river as well as crossing it many times using suspension bridges on first section along the trail draped by blooming rhododendron flowers, luscious pine forests envisioning captivating picture generated through diverse wildlife activity with overwhelming hospitality of local people makes this trek noteworthy and euphoric.

Itinerary Overview

Day One: Arrive in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.
Day Two: Hair–raising flight to Lukla airstrip to begin three hours’ trek to Phakding from Lukla.
Day Three: Access Namche trekking for five hours from Phakding.
Day Four: Continue journey to Tyangboche from Namche passing through pine, fir, juniper, rhododendron forest that takes about five and half hours.
Day Five: Descend to Khumjung from Tyangboche consuming about five hours.
Day Six: Trek from Khumjung to Monjo passing Namche taking five hours.
Day Seven: Conclude journey on Lukla trekking from Monjo that takes about four hours.
Day Eight: Return flight to Kathmandu from Lukla.
Day Nine: We drive you to the airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.

You will be warmly welcomed by our representative on Tribhuvan International Airport and transferred to hotel by private vehicle.

Day 02: Hair–raising flight to Lukla airstrip to begin three hours’ trek to Phakding from Lukla.

After hair-raising flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip, the trek begins heading to north from Lukla village trekking along the bank of DudhKoshi river on gradually sloppy trail passing through Ghat villages to reach Phakding; beautiful village encircled by snowcapped peaks and settled by culturally graceful Sherpa people.

Day 03: Access Namche trekking for five hours from Phakding.

We cross DudhKoshi river and walk on easy path for short duration up to Monjo and Jorsale then climb steep uphill catching first glimpse of Everest to arrive at Namche Bazaar. We can explore several village monasteries spreading message of love and peace through their fluttering prayer flags and in scripted stone walls on our way to Namche from Phakding.

Day 04: Continue journey to Tyangboche from Namche passing through pine, fir, juniper, rhododendron forest that takes about five and half hours.

We leave Namche moving on narrower and less paved path that runs through Kyangjuma, Sanasa and we cross long suspension bridges to reach Tangboche; tranquil village nestled on the backdrop of mountains. We explore old monastery Tangboche monastery, largest in the Khumbu region.

Day 05: Descend to Khumjung from Tyangboche consuming about five hours.

We catch downhill path passing through forest to take recess at confluence of refreshing waters of Dudhkoshi and Bhotekoshi. Then we walk upward trail leading to Khumjung; place where renowned famous Khumjung monastery resides.

Day 06: Trek from Khumjung to Monjo passing Namche taking five hours.

We follow steeply down trail that runs along the bank of Bhotekoshi river and cross river to find ourselves on Monjo; perfect venue located in DudhKoshi river valley gasping vibrant wildflower, bright teahouses and serene monasteries.

Day 07: Conclude journey on Lukla trekking from Monjo that takes about four hours.

We trek along easy path that passes through blue pine and rhododendron forest. After having lunch at Phakding, we climb slightly uphill to arrive at Lukla.

Day 08: Return flight to Kathmandu from Lukla.

Day 09: We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

The Cost Includes:


- One professional guide and porter for the trek with all their food, accommodation, insurance and fees cost during the trek.

- A porter for every 2 people who can carry upto 20 kg total and if only one guest then the guide will be singular and will help carry up to 10 kg.
- Sagarmatha(Everest) National Park Entrance fee, TIMS (Trekking Information Management System) card and Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality (Namche) foreign trekkers fee .
- Airfare both ways to Ktm- Lukla -KTM, in a fixed wing aircraft.
- Airport picks up and drop off services by private vehicle for the domestic flights and also if provided with details pick for your international flight to Nepal from airport to hotel and hotel to airport.
- First aid medical kits for guide and porters
- Equipment and flight for the Nepali staffs.

Required equipment for short Everest trek

To enjoy your trip more you need to be comfort and breathability all day long, for that you need to put emphasis on equipment’s that are necessary. The following list includes items that are necessary which can also be hired.

  • Backpack: During your trip you need to be careful to make the weight of your clothing equipment down to minimum. Your packed trek bag, should weigh no more than 15 kilograms (33 pounds.)
  • Sleeping Bag: Sleeping bag rated to at least 15-degrees Fahrenheit (Optional/ Sleeping bag is provided by us if necessary)
  • Duffel Bag
  • Flash Light (Head lamp)
  • Sun glass
  • Water purifier

Feet

  • Trekking boots
  • Lightweight sandals
  • Woolen socks (3 pairs)

Clothes

While packing your clothes, you need to be careful to not to pack heavy clothes. It’s rather good to go on layers than in bulky clothes.

  • Hat (For warmth)
  • Lightweight long sleeve trekking shirts
  • Long sleeves are good for sun protection. Light weight makes for easy wash material
  • Fleece Jacket or pullover
  • Underwear (4 pairs)

Accommodation: You would be accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And offered to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during trek.

Meal: You would be offered breakfast, Nepali meal at homestay during time at Kathmandu while on trekking you would be provided Nepalese meals three times a day during trek.
