World tourism day is celebrated all over the world on September 27 under the banner of UNWTO. As a member of UNWTO Nepal also celebrating this festival every with special programme. Similarly, World tourism day 2018 is celebrated all over the country Nepal with great vibes. Different organizations organized special programmes on this day. Nepal; country of Himalayas is popular destination for tourists where tourists has wide array of opportunities to engage on different activities. In Nepal guest is taken as god and one slogan “Atithi devo bhawa” is popular in Nepal. So Nepalese people welcomes foreigners with overwhelming hospitality. Nepal tourism board as official organization of Nepalese government also celebrated world tourism day organizing special programme. During the programme many guests were felicitated and all the guests who arrives at Nepal today would be welcomed with warm reception where government officials are present to welcome the guests with garlands and vermilion powders. Nepal government has announced 20 percent discount on cost food items for foreigners who arrives on this special day and total discount for guest who lands first at international airport.
