Recently converted to national park to familiarize it as tourist destination Shuklapahata national park haven for swamp deer and has housed key wildlife species such as tigers, rhinos, rhesus monkey and diverse bird species. Currently hosting largest herd of swamp deer in the world around 2000, national park is prevailed by sub-tropical forests, open grassland and riverbeds.

Banke National Park: Banke national park glorified as gift to the Earth was established on 2067 B.S. covering 550 square kilometers of Banke, Bardiya and Dang district which most part falls on Churiya range.

Hub of 124 plant species, 34 mammal species, 24 reptile species and more than 300 bird species was established with aim to protect Royal Bengal tiger on adjacent to Bardiya national park.

Bardiya National Park: Bardiya national park; unsullied jewel framed by Churiya range and wrapped by pristine jungle and grassland is hub for 55 mammals, wild Asian elephants, sloth bears, hordes of monkey and deers.
