Access the foot of the world third highest mountain Kanchenjunga located on Nepal and India border passing beautiful village settled by culturally graceful ethnic Limbu community with in depth experience of Limbu culture, tradition, lifestyle as well as having flavor of local food like tongba and sukuti (dry meat), on Limbu cultural trek with Kanchenjunga base camp.

Trek begins from tropical lowlands Suketar along the trail besides gushing Tamor river that passes through rich rhododendron forests making way for barren hill sides encountering local communities with their welcoming smile.

Best seasons for trek is March- June and October-November for amazing vision of snowcapped mountains like Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Yalungkang, Mt. Kumbhakarna etc.

Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Suketar that takes about 45 minutes.
Day 3: We begin our trek from Suketar on trail passing rich pastures and wonderful settlements to reach Lali Kharka for overnight stay that takes about four hours.
Day 4: We leave lali kharka trekking down to Pa khola then trek ascending trail up to Kade Bhanjyang.
Day 5: We continue our journey from Kade Bhanjyang to Phumphe taking about six hours.
Day 6: Trek from Phumphe to Mamankhe that consumes about six hours.
Day 7: About five hours’ trek to Tellok from Mamankhe for overnight stay.
Day 8: Trek to Suketar from Tellok consuming about five hours.
Day 9: Flight to Kathmandu from Suketar.
Day 10: We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

 About five hours’ trek to Tellok from Mamankhe for overnight stay.

Day 8:

Trek to Suketar from Tellok consuming about five hours.

Day 9:

Flight to Kathmandu from Suketar.

Day 10:

We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

The Cost Includes:

* A guide (Since you are alone, your guide will help you to carry your belongings during the trek)

* Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card

  • Bar bills (coca cola, mineral water etc.)
  • Personal Insurance &; emergency rescue charges if necessary
  • Extra porter &; transport charges in the event of landslides
  • Other personal expenses, Kathmandu city entrance fee
  • Personal, medical and evacuation insurance
  • Laundry, cost raised by re-routing, cancellation, political disturbance etc.
  • Tips and any other expenses, which are not mentioned above.
  • Lunch and dinner in and Pokhara
  • Meals and hotel accommodation in Kathmandu (We can arrange your hotel accommodation in Kathmandu as per your interest and budget)

Accommodation: You would be accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And offered to stay at hotels or homestay with facilities granted by hotels or homestay during tour.


Meal: You would be offered breakfast, Nepali meal at homestay during time at Kathmandu while on tour you would be provided Nepalese meals two times a day along with breakfast.
