Trek to classic Langtang region perceiving the warm welcome from pleasant, culturally, religiously graceful local Tamang community along the easily accessible trek route near Kathmandu is incredulous. Langtang region, North part of Kathmandu valley is encircled by fabulous great mountains and captivates with frenzied beauty of snow covered mountains, eye pleasing vision of flowing waterfalls from top over of hills. Langtang valley treasure house of Alpine forests is also popular for pleasant local, unique tradition, Buddhist monasteries and monuments.

Itinerary Overview

Day One: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day Two: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi that takes about nine hours.
Day Three: Trek from Syabrubesi passing Bhotekoshi, LangtangKhola to Lama Hotel.
Day Four: Proceed the trek to Langtang valley via GhoreTabela taking six hours.
Day Five: We trek from Langtang village via Lama Hotel following LangtangKhola and passing through GhoreTabela to reach Bamboo for overnight stay.
Day Six: Enjoy three hours’ trek from Bamboo to Syabrubesi along gradually descending trail with spellbinding vision of mountains and green hills
Day Seven: Return to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi on nine hours’ drive through gravel and bumpy road.
Day Eight: We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

You will be warmly welcomed by our representative at Tribhuwan International Airport. Then you will be transferred to hotel by private vehicle.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi passing Chilime hydropower

Langtang trek begins with nine hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi heading to north along the road on bank of Trisuli river. You can go either by public bus or private vehicle but private vehicles are safe and highly recommended. You can observe Chilime hydropower plant on Syabrubesi designed on run-of-the river model.

Day 03: Syabrubesi to Lama hotel through Bamboo

We trek from Syabrubesi along the trail that crosses Bhotekoshi and follow LangtangKhola gradually climbing up to Bamboo passing through landslide to reach Lama Hotel at elevation of 2470 meters from sea level.

Day 04: Lama hotel to Langtang valley via GhoreTabela

We leave Lama Hotel and head toward Langtang village via GhoreTabela passing green meadows utilized to graze Yak and livestock of local people. We explore graceful monastery on way to Langtang valley.

Day 05: Langtang valley to Bamboo passing Lama hotel

We trek from Langtang village via Lama Hotel following LangtangKhola and passing through GhoreTabela to reach Bamboo for overnight stay.

Day 06: Bamboo to Syabrubesi

Enjoy three hours’ trek from Bamboo to Syabrubesi along gradually descending trail with spellbinding vision of mountains and green hills.

Day 07: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu return drive

Return to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi on nine hours’ drive through gravel and bumpy road.

Day 08: Return Flight

We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

  • Accommodation during the treks in local tea-houses and lodges
  • Full board meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner and 3 times tea) during the trek

The Cost Excludes:

  • Bar bills (coca cola, mineral water etc.)
  • Personal Insurance & emergency rescue charges if necessary
  • Extra porter & transport charges in the event of landslides
  • Other personal expenses, airport tax, Kathmandu city entrance fee
  • Personal, medical and evacuation insurance
  • Laundry, cost raised by re-routing, cancellation, political disturbance etc.
  • Tips and any other expenses, which are not mentioned above.

 

Accommodation: You would be accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And offered to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during trek.

Meal: You would be offered breakfast, Nepali meal at homestay during time at Kathmandu while on trekking you would be provided Nepalese meals three times a day during trek.
