Langtang valley framed by towering snow-capped peaks soaring 6000 meters to 7000 meters’ and marveling with the alpine terrain, rustic villages, serene monasteries, terraced farms, cascading waterfalls nestles on North of Kathmandu valley in proximity with Tibetan border. Langtang region proclaimed as world’s most beautiful valley by renowned British mountaineer Bill Tilman encapsulates bewitching glaciers sparkling with sunrays.

Trek to classic Langtang region perceiving the warm welcome from pleasant, culturally, religiously graceful local Tamang community along the easily accessible trek route near Kathmandu is incredulous. Langtang region, North part of Kathmandu valley is encircled by fabulous great mountains and captivates with frenzied beauty of snow covered mountains, eye-pleasing vision of flowing waterfalls from top over of hills. Langtang valley treasure house of Alpine forests is also popular for pleasant local, unique tradition, Buddhist monasteries and monuments.

Langtang trek 7 days begins from Syabrubesi following the trail along the fast flowing Langtang river that leads through splendid mountain terrain to altitude nearly 12000 feet. The best time for Langtang trekking is on month of March to May and October to November.

Itinerary Overview

Day One: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day Two: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi that takes about nine hours.
Day Three: Trek from Syabrubesi passing Bhotekoshi, LangtangKhola to Lama Hotel.
Day Four: Proceed the trek to Langtang valley via GhoreTabela taking six hours.
Day Five: Move along gently ascending trail to reach Kyanjing consuming three hours.
Day Six: We trek back from Kyanjing to Lama hotel that takes six hours recapturing all those fabulous mountain view on the way.
Day Seven: We trek from Lama hotel to Syabrubesi that consumes about six hours.
Day Eight: Return to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi on nine hours’ drive through gravel and bumpy road.
Day Nine: We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

You will be warmly welcomed by our representative at Tribhuvan International Airport. Then you will be transferred to hotel by private vehicle.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi passing Chilime hydropower

Langtang trek begins with nine hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi heading to north along the road on bank of Trisuli river. You can go either by public bus or private vehicle but private vehicles are safe and highly recommended. You can observe Chilime hydropower plant on Syabrubesi designed on run-of-the river model.

Day 03: Syabrubesi to Lama hotel through Bamboo

We trek from Syabrubesi along the trail that crosses Bhotekoshi and follow LangtangKhola gradually climbing up to Bamboo passing through landslide to reach Lama Hotel at elevation of 2470 meters from sea level.

Day 04: Lama hotel to Langtang valley via GhoreTabela

We leave Lama Hotel and head toward Langtang village via GhoreTabela passing green meadows utilized to graze Yak and livestock of local people. We explore graceful monastery on way to Langtang valley.

Day 05: Langtang valley to Kyanjing

We move from Langtang through ascending trail that runs midst of small villages, yak pastures crossing several small streams and moraines until we reach Kyanjing to enjoy panoramic views of KyanjingRi, TsergoRi, Ganja la, Langshi Sa- Ri, DorjiLhakpa and many more.

Day 06: Kyanjing to Lama hotel

We trek back from Kyanjing to Lama hotel that takes six hours recapturing all those fabulous mountain view on the way.

Day 07: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi through Sherpa Gaon

We proceed to Syabrubesi leaving Lama Hotel along broader path that runs through Sherpa Gaon exploring culture, tradition, festival of ethnic Sherpa community with panoramic view of mountains and beautiful green hills.

Day 08: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu return drive

 Return to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi on nine hours’ drive through gravel and bumpy road.

Day 09: Return Flight

We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Accommodation: You would be accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And offered to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during trek.

Meal: You would be offered breakfast, Nepali meal at homestay during time at Kathmandu while on trekking you would be provided Nepalese meals three times a day during trek.
