Khaptad region; hidden gem of natural beauty is located on far western region within Khaptad National park boasting variety of vegetation that ranges from sub-tropical to temperate forests.

Region renowned for green meadows, grasslands, pastures is hub of medicinal herbs, flowering plants, multiple birds. Khaptad region also provides moment to immerse on yoga and meditation on tranquil and serene land where Khaptad swami passed many years practicing yoga and meditation.

Besides being home to 224 species of medicinal herbs, 287 species of birds, 347 species of flowering plants along with 23 species of mammals, region unfurls captivating vision of Saipal and Api himal.

Mesmerizing trek to Khaptad region can be done on spring and autumn season that begins from Doti district. This trek can be jointly done with Ramaroshan locally known as Patan and popular for twelve beautiful lakes and eighteen meadows.

Itinerary Overview

Day One: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day Two: About one and half-hours’ scenic flight to Dhangadi, major town of western Nepal.

Day Three: Drive to Silgadi for overnight stay from Dhangadi along bumpy and picturesque road taking about six hours.

Day Four: Trek begins from Silgadi; district headquarters of Doti along ascending trail to Jhingrana passing through rhododendron and cherry forests.

Day Five: We leave Jhigrana climbing uphill up to Khaptad consuming about five hours.

Day Six: Explore adorned biodiversity of Khaptad national park and visit museum, Khaptad danda, patan and tower.

Day Seven: We trek to Jhigrana from Khaptad retracing same route that takes about five hours.

Day Eight: Trek to Silgadi from Jhigrana for five hours.

Day Nine: Drive to Dhangadi from Silgadi and fly to Kathmandu from Dhangadi.

Day Ten: We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Accommodation: You would be accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And offered to stay at hotels or homestay with facilities granted by hotels or homestay during tour.


Meal: You would be offered breakfast, Nepali meal at homestay during time at Kathmandu while on tour you would be provided Nepalese meals two times a day along with breakfast.
