Helambu Gosainkunda trek offers awe-inspiring moment to indulge on natural and cultural wonders enveloped by thrilling trails, culturally and religiously adorned village, slow moving rivers and snow clad mountains soaring in to the sky.
Mesmerizing trek begins from Sundarijal village, north of Kathmandu along route midst of forest; haven of wildlife inhabitants and move through culturally abundant villages that showcases charming culture and religion with warm welcome and humble behavior showered by villagers to access graceful Gosainkunda, serene place for both Hindus and Buddhists. The grand holy festival is held during month of August.
Day One: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day Two: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche that takes about eight hours.
Day Three: Trek from Dunche to Chandanbari/Sing Gompa consuming six hours.
Day Four: Move to Gosainkund from Sing Gompa on five hours’ trek.
Day Five: Enjoy tremendous vision of snowcapped mountains and peaks on trek from Gosainkund to Tharepati consuming seven hours.
Day Six: Journey proceeds from Tharepati crossing MelamchiKhola for five and half-hours’ trek to reach Tarkeghyang.
Day Seven: We walk along the trail running through forests, terraces and human settlements to reach Timbu.
Day Eight: Drive from Timbu to Kathmandu which takes about seven hours.
Day Nine: We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu
You will be warmly welcomed by our representative at Tribhuwan International Airport and transferred to hotel by private vehicle.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Dhunche
On eight hours drive from Kathmandu on hilly winding road along Trisuli river by private vehicle we reach Dhunche; district headquarter as well as Langtang National Park headquarter.
Day 03: Dhunche to Sing Gompa
The trek starts from Dhunche along ascending trail that offers majestic vision of Langtang Himalayan ranges through oak, bamboo forest to reach Sing Gompa/Chandanbari where famous monastery and old cheese factory resides.
Day 04: Sing Gompa to Gosainkund via Lauribinayak la
You ascend gradually to Lauribinayak la then trail leads us steep up for two hours to reach Gosainkunda; sacred lake generated by Lord Shiva piercing his trident and thousand hindu devotees flock on festival of Janai Purnima on this graceful place.
Day 05: Gosainkund to Tharepati passing Phedi
We leave Gosainkund climbing hill for almost two and half hours through rugged path until we reach Lauribinayak la then trek along descending trail for three and half hours to reach Phedi. We move along rocky trail with views of green hill to reach Tharepati; popular yak pasture during summer.
Day 06: Tharepati to Tarkeghyang crossing MelamchiKhola
The trail leads us to MelamchiKhola, then towards Tamang settlements offering us chance to indulge on natural beauty of glistening Himalayan peaks and explore antique and gigantic monastery of the region Tarkeghyang. This village is popularly known as Helambu.
Day 07: Tarkeghyang to Timbu
We walk along the trail running through forests, terraces and human settlements to reach Timbu.
Day 08: Timbu to Kathmandu drive
Drive from Timbu to Kathmandu which takes about seven hours.
Day 09: Return Flight
We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Accommodation: You would be accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And offered to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during trek.
Meal: You would be offered breakfast, Nepali meal at homestay during time at Kathmandu while on trekking you would be provided Nepalese meals three times a day during trek.
